The 2nd Annual Showcase Truro Film Festival will be held September 30 and October 1, 2016 at the Marigold Cultural Centre in downtown Truro. The event will showcase and celebrate the successes in film from homegrown talents and area favourites. Our Friday night spotlight this year will showcase the short films of Truro’s own Cory Bowles. Saturday afternoon and evening will highlight short films featuring Truro and Atlantic Canadian connections. The festival will conclude with an after party at Lokal Resto and Market, featuring Steven MacDougall from Slowcoaster.
