Festival - $138
Concert - $25
We are hosting the second Marigold Ukulele Festival on Saturday, January 21, 2017. “The first one we organized in 2015 was a huge success and participants said they definitely wanted to see another one” says organizer Angela Dwyer “This year we have added a Saturday night concert so it will be a full day of everything ukulele!”
The day will begin at 9 AM with a series of workshops (led by James Hill, Chalmers Doane, and Suzanne Doane), as well as a performance by the Marigold Ukulele Players. In the evening a concert celebrating the Nova Scotia Ukulele Hall of Fame will be presented featuring James Hill and Anne Janelle, Chalmers Doane and friends, as well as Sandra Obritsch and the South Shore Ukulele Players. There will also be an induction of a new member into the Hall of Fame.
The cost for the day is $120 plus HST and there are only 75 spots available. The price includes three workshops (one each from the workshop leaders), nutrition breaks, and the Saturday night concert. If people wish to just attend the concert, tickets are $25.
