Let's Try This Again

  • Marigold Cultural Centre 605 Prince Street Truro, NS, B2N 1G2 Canada (map)

$25

Fresh from a successful cabaret run at some of New York's most iconic nightspots, Truro’s favourite Andrews are back with their unique blend of wit, warmth, and unparalleled musicianship. Andrew Morrisey (actor/vocalist) and Andrew Boudreau (pianist/composer) blend New York sophistication with Bluenoser charm in a show that celebrates the joy of reconnecting after 2 long years away from live audiences. Thoughtful, funny, and unapologetically human, this 75-minute performance explores themes of love, queer identity, and re-learning to navigate social interaction in a post-pandemic world. The intimacy of the cabaret style with its blend of story and song is perfect for a celebration of reconnecting and coming home.

Andrew Morrisey has been hailed as an actor who "brings a rare electricity that is powered by vulnerability and glitter." - BroadwayWorld

Andrew Boudreau is an accomplished pianist/composer and winner of multiple international awards including the Jacksonville Jazz Competition.

Directed by Margot Bégin, who recently directed the critically-acclaimed Canadian Tour of Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Bégin steered the production to win two BroadwayWorld Awards in Toronto, including Best Musical.

This performance is presented in partnership with Truro Pride and with the generous support of MotorHub Automotive Group. A portion of proceeds from ticket sales will go to the Truro Pride Society.
