Join us for an impactful evening featuring renowned activist and humanitarian, Dan Pallotta. This milestone occasion will bring together community leaders, businesses, and supporters to commemorate our journey and look forward to future innovations in workforce development.

WHO IS DAN PALLOTTA?

Dan Pallotta is a transformative figure in the nonprofit sector, known for revolutionizing how nonprofit organizations are evaluated. His iconic TED Talk on philanthropy, viewed over 5.5 million times, is hailed as the most persuasive TED talk ever. He is also featured in the movie UnCharitable, based on his best-selling book, which premiered in over fifty theatres and will soon stream online. A former leader at Harvard's Kennedy School, Dan co-founded TED's Audacious Project, raising nearly $1 billion for social initiatives.

Dan pioneered the multi-day charitable event industry with the Breast Cancer 3-Day walks and AIDS Rides, raising over $500 million and inspiring additional fundraising of $1.5 billion for various causes. Dan authored UnCharitable, a landmark book on nonprofit constraints, and "The Everyday Philanthropist" a guide for impactful giving. He founded the Charity Defence Council and Add Humanity, consulting for innovative humanitarian organizations. Dan has delivered over 400 talks worldwide and written extensively for the Harvard Business Review. His work has been featured in major media outlets, and he has received numerous awards for his contributions to philanthropy.

ABOUT THE EVENT
As we plan for our 40th anniversary as a social-purposed, not-for-profit organization, UnCharitable resonated with us. As we embark on this year with gratitude, we are incredibly motivated to host a community animation event which will include a viewing of this documentary, and an impactful IN PERSON keynote presented by Dan following the exclusive viewing(s) of UnCharitable.

Futureworx wants to share its passion for this (social helpful) work by being a part of a movement to create a future where our diverse communities can come together to collaborate, innovate, celebrate achievements and success to dream boldly.
