Swaying between the punchiness of modern rock and the nostalgic tones of '90s alternative, June Body's rawness and forthright lyrical delivery throws back to the likes of Death Cab for Cutie and The Weakerthans. Most recently, June Body supported The Beaches for a sold-out, two thousand-person show in Halifax, and will support PUP for a two-night run in August. The trio's new album, 'Last Everythings' (2024), was self-engineered in an ancient Nova Scotian family cottage. The band lived in their self-built studio for a week, recording the 10-track full-length. It was mixed by Juno and Polaris Prize-winning engineer Jace Lasek (Land of Talk, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Besnard Lakes), and arrives with a limited edition vinyl run on Fresh Biscuits Records.
